About

Dr. Akilah Bradford has worked in the field of Human Resources for over 18 years.  She is the CEO/Founder of The HR DOC Consulting, LLC a HR Consulting Firm for small to mid-sized growing organizations helping them maneuver through the ever-changing world of HR by providing services in recruitment & selection, employment law, employee relations and HR policy development.  In addition, she has been a higher education instructor for more than 13 years.

She regularly facilitates workshops on Resume Writing and Mastering the Interviewing, as well as corporate training on Conflict Resolution and Effective Management Techniques.

Dr. Bradford studied Organizational Leadership at Argosy University and obtained her Doctorate of Education.  Her research focused on organizational commitment and why employees leave their employers.  She received her MBA and Master of Science Degree in Human Resources Management from National-Louis University and Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications from the University of Illinois, Chicago.

She is a resident of the South Side of Chicago and enjoys instructing in-door cycling classes and being a fitness coach for women
