Women in Leadership Collaborative
January 19 @ 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm
Women’s Leadership Collaborative
“The Women in Leadership Collaborative was more than a course; it was a community. Rose does a great job of setting up a space that is welcoming, understanding and educational. If you are ready to take the time to improve yourself, this course is for you. You will grow personally, professionally, and build your network all at the same time. This course is transformative – and allows for you to build yourself up with the support of incredible women leaders!”
Women leaders and business owners face many challenges. The challenges women cite are not unlike what Shipman and Kay’s research revealed. Shipman and Kay say, “Compared with men, women don’t consider themselves as ready for promotions, they predict they’ll do worse on tests, and they generally underestimate their abilities.”
Women have shared that they suffer from a lack of confidence, they avoid conflict, struggle with work life balance, and don’t feel seen as ready for higher levels of leadership. These are all limiting beliefs. This course will address these challenges and you will emerge more confident and certain of your abilities. You will learn to silence your inner critic and step into your authentic leadership ability.
This program will provide women with leadership skills, confidence, and self-awareness. Past participants in Rose’s programs remark that their experience was life changing, both personally and professionally. The weekly, one hour classes, will take place via zoom. In addition to the weekly classes, members will be assigned a partner from the cohort and are encouraged to have a weekly one to one meeting with their partner.
Participants will gain personal insights and individual learning, but the connection, support and camaraderie experienced is the superpower of this journey! Don’t miss out on this extraordinary opportunity. Put yourself first for a change!

Rose is passionate about helping women leaders. Thinking back on her own experiences, she realizes that she would not be the woman she is today without the support and encouragement of her mentors. Through her own self-discovery and introspection during covid, she believes the inner journey is the critical first step to rising to leadership in life and career. Rose helps women leaders discover their own unique gifts and how to use these gifts to live an integrated and authentic life. The analogy of putting your own life vest on first, before helping others is foundational to personal growth.
In addition to her passion for helping women, Rose is a leading governance consultant and coach for national and regional organizations across the country. Her unique experience in the Olympic sports world at USA Swimming, U.S. Figure Skating and the U.S. Olympic Committee allows her to “coach” boards, entrepreneurs and c-suite executives for high performance and achievement.
While Rose has enjoyed nearly 20 years as a successful nonprofit consultant, she has recently taken her success to the business coaching arena. She received her credentials through The Institute for Integrative Coach Training and recently earned her ACC, (Associate Certified Coach) through the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
Rose has a Masters of Organizational Management and a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. In addition, Rose has trained extensively with Board Source, formerly the National Center for Nonprofit Boards. She is also a recognized trainer through Consultants Psychologists Press Inc (MBTI). and one of only a handful in the world, trained to conduct Psycho-geometrics® (Shapes) communication seminars.
Rose is married to Charlie Snyder who heads up marketing and communication for the College of Fine Arts at the University of Arizona. She is excited to be back in Tucson as she is a proud Alumna of the U of A. Rose and Charlie have three grown children: Carli Rose, Gina Maria, and Sam Andrew.
